This is Miss Sumiyati, she is my instructor. I have the opportunity to order a teaching and teaching assistant at the 12th grade. During the second week Observation of teaching made me learn many things from this teacher.
This is Miss Sumiyati's teaching, planning lesson plan is one of instructor’s mission and a part of education management system. An instructor had to prepare it before teaching and analyzed national curriculum. When teacher knows the unit and class that should be taught, teacher analyzed what the object of this teaching is, what does want student to know, what is the scope of the unit. Also prepared the teaching methods that suit for the nature of each students. Teacher thought about the media media measurement and evaluation that should be use. The process isn’t just teaching time, but teaching process also takes before and after the teaching. This lesson plane will explain whatever that instructor and students had to do to follow the object.
Preparing lessons and materials
How to preparing teaching
1. Studying curriculum to understand about purpose, method, structure, detail of curriculum and materials.
2. Studying subject’s purpose to understand according to curriculum.
3. Studying and searching other documents such as handbook, student textbook and other textbooks.

4.1 calculating amount of studying period.
4.2 calculating days off that fit in studying period.
Teaching in class
The teacher started to check previous assignments or assigned new worksheet to students in the class before teaching. Then teacher taught by lecture and explain. Teacher used power point presentation to teach information after that teacher wraped up by asking student to review the knowledge that have learned. Sometimes she assigned students to present in front the class and summarize together.
Measurement and Evaluation
The good evaluation and measurement should do several methods and many times. In the class, teacher used many methods for measurement and evaluation such as questioning, Covering, performing, doing report, etc. It had to match learning’s objectives.
